Dr. David d'Heurle founded Atlanta Retina in the early 2000s.

He received his B.A. from Manhattanville College and obtained his M.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed an Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Virginia Hospital and a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

A published author and lecturer, Dr. d’Heurle is a member of the American Medical Association, Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and the Vitreous Society.
